The search to find best mobile internet start-up has expanded to three countries! Today, Vodafone announced the start of Mobile Clicks 2010, an international competition to identify and develop the best and most innovative mobile internet start-ups. The total prize fund is EUR 150,000. Now in its third year, Mobile Clicks has become the biggest mobile start-up competition of its kind. In 2010, the competition is open to entries from the Netherlands, the UK and Portugal. Vodafone Mobile Clicks is organized in cooperation with MoMo London, MoMo Amsterdam and MoMo Lissabon.

Lots of you have been asking for more details about this year's program... and we don't want to keep you in suspense any longer! Keep reading for a sneak preview of what's in store at PICNIC '10 - including program highlights and speakers.

    Program Highlights PICNIC '10

    The theme of PICNIC '10 is Redesign the World, with a focus on Life, Design, City and Media. Each day will kick off with inspiring speakers who are changing the world! The core focus of Wednesday will be Life and Design, and Thursday will focus more heavily on City and Media. Friday will cover all four topics. Check out a few of the highlights of each day below, and scroll to the bottom of the post to see our latest list of speakers!

ABC is the first bookstore to bring the Espresso Book Machine to continental Europe - a printing revolution that allows you to produce a book within minutes. Choose from a selection of more than 3 million titles, or print your own masterpiece!

To help celebrate their exciting acquisition, ABC wants your help creating the first-ever book printed on the Espresso Book machine. The book will be presented at PICNIC '10. Keep reading for more details about the AnyBook Award.

    The Espresso Book Machine will be officially unveiled on 25 September 2010. This machine prints, covers, binds and trims any book selected from a database of over 3 million titles or any author manuscript - in library quality with a full-colour paperback cover - within a few minutes while you wait and watch.

    Lynn Kaplanian, director of the ABC is very proud to introduce this groundbreaking invention to the Dutch/European market: “I have been dreaming about this moment for a long time! We are delighted to install our first Espresso Book Machine in the White Room of the ABC in Amsterdam. “
