For 25 years I've worked as an activist, educator, community organizer, consultant, change agent, risk taker, organizational therapist, author, coach, entrepreneur and provocateur. Many hats but one goal...to make the world a better place by helping those who make the world a better place.
I spend most of my time working to help organisations develop and implement their Internet and Web strategy. I'm not a tool builder but focus on the best tactics to use to help VCOs, foundations and networks meet the need of their stakeholders. I also do a lot of strategic business planning, evaluation and coaching.
The most recent incarnation of my work is with the Summit Collaborative which I founded 2000. For eight years we have helped hundreds of organizations become more efficient and effective. Strategic planning, program development and evaluation, Internet/Website and technology strategy as well as coaching is what we do. My role as founder and is to bring together and lead teams of talented people to develop projects and serve our clients.
As far as history a lot has passed under the bridge before Summit. I worked with Greenpeace and the PIRGs, spent time as a public school teacher and started a successful catering company. I very proud to have been part of the first wave of nonprofit activists to use technology in the 1980's.
I'm very proud of the work I've done to energize thousands of people in workshops, helped hundreds of organizations better meet their mission, have published a library full of reports, tools and articles and have started and nurtured many networks of people and organizations.
